How it works.
Three steps, and you only do them once. After that your record stays on our list.
- 1Tell us who you are. Fill in the form on this page: business name as it appears on your insurance, your name, an email for job requests, and your main trade.
- 2Upload your documents. We email you your own link. Use it to send your insurance, your accreditations and a reference. There is nothing to log in to.
- 3We check them. A person here looks at what you sent before any work is instructed. If something is missing we tell you what.
What to have ready.
- ·Public liability insurance. The current certificate or schedule, showing the limit and the expiry date.
- ·Employers' liability insurance, if you have anyone working for you.
- ·Accreditations for your trade. For example Gas Safe, NICEIC or NAPIT, BAFE, or a health and safety scheme such as CHAS or SafeContractor.
- ·One reference. A managing agent, a landlord or a commercial client you have worked for.

What it costs.
Nothing. We do not charge contractors to be on the list.
Where we stop.
Being on the list means we have checked you and can instruct you. It is not a promise of work. We use your details to decide whether to instruct you and to contact you about jobs, and for nothing else. Privacy notice.
